Nothing like an afternoon quickie!

Recently got my ASCP in "Florence" the other day and couldn't wait to try it out.  I had a bunch of stuff that was given to me by our friend in Florida and in that "pile" was this table:

French Script End Table

The hubs was kind enough, one day, to stop by a little yard sale on his way home.  It was kind of late in the day and the lady was itching to rid herself of what she had left, so he ended up picking up a little wooden end table and about 20 picture frames for a whopping five dollars!

Whoo Hoo!!

The Victorian Rocker I FINALLY finished!

O.... M.... G!!!

Have you ever had a piece that you couldn't wait to get finished, yet loathed working on?  That was me and my Victorian Rocker which has now been dubbed "The Wedding Rocker" because of it's looks.  This was a project that was actually suppose to be very simple:  paint, make cushion, sell!  Yet the OCD side of me got ALL huffy and puffy and it just kept getting added onto, and going this way and that.

Pin-Striped, Grain Sack Chair

I recently finished, and then sold, a chair that I found at a local thrift store in the area.  It seems people want to get rid of perfectly good chairs for cheap around here.

I win!

It was originally painted what looked like plastic blue which made the whole chair look "Blue Light Special" cheap.  I don't even know if the plastic ribbed vinyl cover on the cushion and chair back is even worth mentioning.

French-Style Antiqued Architectural Cornice

A few weeks ago I happened on a couple of pieces in my neighborhood that nearly had me getting tickets for making illegal U-turns all over the place.  This piece - along with the two free columns a high school drama department had thrown out - was one of them.

Industrial Vintage "HOME" Letters

So I'm trying to write a little quicker about some of things I'm working on.  I am currently making 80+ cream colored rosettes for my antique platform rocker which I have lovingly started calling the "Wedding Rocker" since that's what it's beginning to remind me of with all these stinking flowers I've been burning my fingers off with making.  I just love glue guns.... don't you?

I did manage to finish a set of "HOME" Industrial Vintage-looking letters today.
